The latest news from Thandavam unit is that Chiyan Vikram plays the role of a blind person in the movie. It may be noted Vikram played a vision impaired role in his earlier hit Kasi. Director Vijay clarified the charecter Vikram plays in Thandavam and also added his role will be entirely different from that of Kasi.
Though Kasi and Thandavam revolves around a blind person, both the films are of different genres, said Vikram. Vikram differentiated both the characters saying Kasi is a simple blind person whereas in Thandavam the blind hero possess a rare ability in human beings called echolocation.
